History of our House

The history of this farm goes back to the 16th century. First pastorate hooves (pastor's court), then the "New Meierhof" or "Neufeld" was created here from parts of the "Old Meierhof" in 1773.

In 1864 Peter Hinrich Erichsen acquired the property and left the house and the barn with some land to his son-in-law Henning Jensen. From then on, the farm remained in the hands of this family until 1970.

From 1885 a small train ran from Flensburg to Glücksburg and later on to Kappeln directly past the house. In 1988 Peter Erichsen negotiated with the railways about the restoration of the entrance area of his house. From 1924-35 there was a tram in the same place.

In 1971 an engineering firm bought the house and the stables and built a swimming pool with sauna and a bungalow, in which the engineering firm was located. In 1979 the property changed hands until we took it over in late 2017.
